Recently, the Hong Kong Environmental Protection Department (EPD) organized the " First Green Silk Road International Training Program on Environmental Technologies and Sustainable Development " for 13 environmental officials from Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Sri Lanka, sharing Hong Kong’s expertise in environmental protection and climate change mitigation. On October 30, delegates visited Tuen Mun EcoPark, where Chun Yang International (HK) Company Limited—a subsidiary of Envision Greenwise Group and the developer of Hong Kong's First EV Battery Processing Plant—presented the facility’s progress and the Group’s global battery recycling ecosystem.

Mr. Ricky Ng, Senior Project Manager of Chun Yang International, noted that Hong Kong’s EV fleet has surpassed 130,000 vehicles, making the facility a forward-looking initiative to support local EV adoption and a critical component of the city’s new energy industry. He emphasized that the facility, scheduled for operation in the first half of 2026, will serve as a key hub for processing end-of-life EV batteries and other lithium-based batteries in Hong Kong. Additionally, it will act as a flagship project for the Group’s global battery circular economy network, bolstering its 70+ service points across the Americas, Europe, and Asia to advance worldwide recycling efforts.

Following the session, Dr. AU Sze Man, Vanessa, JP, Deputy Director of the EPD, presented certificates to the workshop participants and thanked industry partners for their active engagement. Delegates expressed that the program provided insights into cutting-edge green technologies and zero-carbon community strategies, inspiring new approaches to drive sustainable development in their home countries. Moving forward, Envision Greenwise will continue to foster international dialogue and collaboration, working with global partners to build a greener future.
