Chun Yang International (HK) Co., Ltd. ("Chun Yang International"), a subsidiary of Envision Greenwise Group ( 01783. HK), successfully debuted at the 2025 The Battery Show Asia (TBSA) held at AsiaWorld-Expo, Hong Kong from July 15 to 17. Chun Yang International showcased an architectural model of Hong Kong's First EV Battery Processing Plant, presenting innovative eco-solutions for retired power battery disposal to global visitors. This attracted numerous participants and industry professionals from both domestic and international backgrounds to engage in discussions on cutting-edge power battery technologies and market trends.

The Battery Show (TBS) is a premier event in the global battery and energy storage technology sector, making its debut in Hong Kong this year. The TBSA featured six parallel technical forums, gathering technology experts, strategic decision-makers, and industry leaders from the global battery supply chain, with over 350 exhibiting companies and more than 15,000 professional attendees. The forums focused on hot topics such as battery production and quality control, safety technologies, solid-state battery innovations, battery recycling and reuse, and new energy storage systems, creating an international platform for knowledge sharing and technical exchange.

According to data from the Environment and Ecology Bureau in December 2024, the number of electric vehicles in Hong Kong has surpassed 100,000, increasing nearly sevenfold compared to five years ago. Establishing a comprehensive retired battery processing mechanism is crucial for Hong Kong's low-carbon transition. As the only green enterprise authorized to construct an EV Battery Processing Plant at the EcoPark, Chun Yang International is committed to building a closed-loop ecosystem for the recycling and repurposing of retired power batteries. The "Hong Kong's first EV Battery Processing Plant " displayed at the exhibition is expected to commence operations in the first quarter of 2026, providing sustainable solutions for local retired electric vehicle batteries and other types of lithium batteries, aiding Hong Kong's transition to electrification and steadily progressing towards the goal of zero carbon emissions by 2050.
