On November 27, 2025 (local time), the "Think Business, Think Hong Kong" event organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) took place successfully in Milan, Italy. As one of the representatives of Hong Kong's green innovation enterprises, Envision Greenwise Holdings Limited ("Envision Grrenwise" or "the Group", stock code: 1783.HK) was invited to attend. Mr. Zhan Zhihao, the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of the Group, was a guest speaker at the forum, sharing the Group's global layout and practical achievements in the field of EV battery recycling, highlighting Hong Kong's unique value in connecting international markets and driving innovation and supply chain transformation.
This large-scale event gathered over 90 representatives from Hong Kong's political and business sectors, including Paul Chan, Hong Kong SAR Government Financial Secretary, and Prof Frederick Ma, HKTDC Chairman, as well as numerous leading figures from the business and creative industries, investors, and startup entrepreneurs. The event also attracted more than 1,000 local business representatives to explore collaboration opportunities.
In his opening remarks, Mr. Chan mentioned that the economic partnership between Hong Kong and Italy is flourishing and remarkably diverse: “In 2024, bilateral merchandise trade reached €7.2 billion; with 200 Italian companies have their regional headquarters, offices or operations in Hong Kong.”
In his welcome remarks, Prof Ma said: “Renowned as one of the world's leading international financial hubs, many opportunities await Italian businesses in Hong Kong – in traditional and newer sectors. Just like Italy, Hong Kong is focused on I&T. This covers fintech, Greentech, AI and smart city development, the creative sector and more. I see great potential for collaboration.”
At the Global Supply Chain session, moderated by the Senior Vice President (Sustainability) Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship of Invest HK, Ms. Olivia To, guest speaker Mr. Zhan Zhihao introduced how the close ties between Hong Kong and Europe provide a natural advantage for the Group to advance its global business. For instance, the Group's " Hong Kong's First EV Battery Processing Plant" project introduces German technology solutions that meet EU standards, excelling in local green operations and serving as a demonstration window for the Group's global outreach, showcasing Hong Kong's role as a "super value-adder" between advanced technologies and standards in Asia and Europe.
He also mentioned that as a green technology company "based in Hong Kong and looking globally," Envision Greenwise deeply feels the "super-connector" advantage that Hong Kong brings to businesses. Using Hong Kong as a strategic hub, Envision Greenwise has established deep cooperation with multiple European partners, gradually building a circular resource channel that reaches Europe and the global market. In the EV battery recycling business, Envision Greenwise has currently established over 40 service points in Italy and other European countries, and this year, it has set up a headquarters office in Europe to strengthen local operations and resource integration capabilities, continuously serving the local automotive and energy industries and promoting the establishment of a safe and compliant green supply chain system.
Italy is a close trade and investment partner of Hong Kong. This year's "Think Business, Think Hong Kong" event facilitated hundreds of on-site business matching, one-on-one consultations, and exchange opportunities, further promoting economic and cultural exchanges between the two places. Envision Greenwise will continue to leverage Hong Kong's pivotal energy, deepen industrial collaboration with European partners, combine various advantages, and tailor the battery recycling value chain to advance the achievement of global carbon neutrality goals.
