On 19 February, Envision Greenwise Holdings Limited ("Envision Greenwise Group") announced its cooperation with Hefei Gotion High-tech Power Energy Co., Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gotion High-tech Co., Ltd. ("Gotion"), to jointly develop and promote energy storage business and reverse logistics business (e.g. battery recycling) globally. The cooperation will accelerate the Group's establishment of a global service system for the recycling of power batteries, further reinforcing the Group's core business while expanding the global influence of the its brand.
According to the announcement, Envision Greenwise will develop in-depth cooperation with the subsidiary of Gotion High-tech in a multi-dimensional aspect, which includes the joint establishment of the Gotion EVS Greenwise Low Carbon Research Institute, the joint research on the new technology and business model of battery energy storage system (BESS), low-carbon technology and related technical support and consulting services, and the joint promotion of the research and innovation of low-carbon technology in the global market, as well as its application, and market transactions. The Parties will also jointly develop and promote the power battery recycling market and related logistics solutions.
Through this cooperation, the Parties will utilize their respective resource advantages and collaborate to develop and expand the energy storage and battery cell recycling market, and provide sustainable green power solutions for global customers. As a leading enterprise in the domestic and international power battery industry, Gotion Hi-Tech has successfully built a mature industrial chain and an internationalized production, R&D and sales system, laying a solid leading position in the global new energy lithium battery industry. Leveraging on its nearly 40 years of cooperative channels and resources in Hong Kong, Envision Greenwise has gradually built up a recyclable business operation model in recent years, with smart buildings and green transportation as its core business and sustainable power battery solutions as its key business.
