On 8 October 2024, Mr. Kwok Chun Sing, MH, the Chairman of Envision Greenwise Holdings Limited (“Group”, 01783.HK), was honored with the “2024 Greater Bay Area Outstanding Entrepreneur Award” on a ceremony held by Hong Kong Commercial Daily. The award is in recognition of his outstanding achievements in the field of green energy and renewable energy.

Mr. Kwok has been committed to a sustainable business philosophy and applied it in the Group’s management, the corporate culture and strategy development. Under his leadership, the Group has made a lot of achievements in EV battery recycling and green energy infrastructure, setting a high standard within the industry. As the founder as well as the president of the Hong Kong Recycling Chamber of Commerce (HKRCOC), Mr. Kwok has also been actively promoting the HKRCOC's role as a connector among the industry, the government and various community sectors, fostering the development of the green recycling industry and driving innovation and growth in the environmental protection sector.

In Mr. Kwok’s speech, he highlighted the Group's unwavering commitment to the mission of “Smart Energy, Green Future”, and mentioned that the Group has been applying innovative technologies to enhance its products and services, fostering the growth of green buildings and green transportation industries. He also introduced the “Hong Kong’s First EV Battery Processing Plant” project, which is an innovative initiative focusing on sustainable solutions for retired EV batteries, and will become a benchmark for lithium battery recycling in the Greater Bay Area, contributing to the development of circular economy in both the Mainland and overseas. Mr. Kwok also expressed his gratitude to all supporters of the Group's development and pledged to strive forward to create more value for the Greater Bay Area and the society.

In an interview with Hong Kong Commercial Daily, Mr. Kwok elaborated on his philosophy of sustainable management. He emphasized that the mission of an entrepreneur extends beyond generating economic benefits for shareholders and society; it also encompasses fostering the sustainable development of society and the environment. Mr. Kwok mentioned that the business segments of Envision Greenwise are in line with the government's two major strategies namely “Energy Saving and Green Buildings” and “Green Transport”, while the infrastructure and installation of EV-charging services and the sustainable solution of retired EV Battery can relieve the two major problems of EVs – “no electricity for charging” and the “wave of battery decommissioning”. Looking forward, Mr. Kwok stated that the Group will leverage Hong Kong's free economy and its support from the Motherland, while continuing to actively develop innovative technologies, nurture outstanding talents and promote industrial cooperation, aiming to better serve the country's development strategy, contribute to the construction of the Greater Bay Area, and expand the EV battery recycling service system globally.
