On May 8, 2025, the "Global Battery Circular Economy Strategic Partnership Signing Ceremony & Green Energy Industry Exchange Forum," hosted by Envision Greenwise Holdings Limited ("Envision Greenwise," 01783.HK), was successfully held. During the event, Envision Greenwise officially signed a memorandum of understanding with China Resources Recycling International Development Shenzhen Co., Ltd, ("CRR International") and Guangdong Brunp Recycling Technology Co., Ltd. ("Brunp ").
Mr. Tse Chin-wan, BBS, JP, Secretary for Environment and Ecology of Hong Kong, served as the officiating guest and delivered a speech at the event. The conference attracted over 100 industry representatives, including organisation leaders, senior executives from the automotive industry, government officials, and academic experts, who gathered to discuss industry development.

Mr. Kwok Chun Sing, MH, the Chairman of Envision Greenwise, delivered a welcome speech: “With the continuous support of the Hong Kong government and the Environment and Ecology Bureau, I believe that Hong Kong will become an important engine for green industries in the region and globally.” Mr. Kwok also emphasized that this cooperation fully leveraged Envision Greenwise's advantages in global network layout and comprehensive closed-loop capabilities for recycling renewable resources. The collaboration with CRR International and Brunp will create a strong synergy, facilitating the high-quality development of the green industrial chain in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and establishing a model for the circular economy, helping achieve the country's "dual carbon" goals.
Mr. Tse Chin-wan subsequently delivered a keynote address. He stated that green transportation is a crucial part of Hong Kong's carbon reduction strategy, and developing the battery recycling industry will effectively support the sustainable development of electric vehicle adoption. He added: “Hong Kong's First EV Battery Processing Plant of Envision Greenwise's subsidiary, Chun Yang International (HK) Co., Ltd., is not only an important milestone in the development of battery recycling technology in Hong Kong but also an important carrier for supporting the Hong Kong government's Producer Responsibility Schemes (PRSs). We look forward to the strategic collaboration between CRR International, Envision Greenwise, and Brunp in the low-carbon transition of the battery industry, enhancing communication in technology, resources, and talent, and further supporting Hong Kong's green industry development, bringing new opportunities for facilitating the development of the Greater Bay Area and the country.
Mr. Chen Yunlong, Deputy General Manager of China Resources Recycling Group, delivered a video address. He expressed his gratitude to the Environment and Ecology Bureau and believe that Hong Kong's international and rule-of-law business environment will provide strong momentum for cross-border cooperation in power battery recycling technology. Mr. Chen looks forward to using this signing as a starting point to jointly create a closed-loop industrial chain for power batteries, contributing Chinese wisdom to the global circular economy.
Mr. Yu Haijun, Vice President of Guangdong Brunp Recycling Technology Co., Ltd. pointed out that Brunp has been deeply involved in and has led several national policies and industry standards for the recycling of new energy vehicles in China, thereby accumulating substantial practical experience. This collaboration will further integrate the strengths of all parties, creating a green industry benchmark with national strategic significance and making important contributions to enhancing the global competitiveness of China's new energy industry.
This collaboration unites three leading enterprises in the green energy sector. China Resources Recycling Group International Development Shenzhen Co., Ltd,a specialized subsidiary of China Resources Recycling Group for overseas strategic resource allocation, serves as a key hub in connecting domestic and international recycling resource supply chains. Guangdong Brunp Recycling Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in 2005. As a subsidiary of CATL, Brunp has developed a vertically integrated battery industry chain, making it a key partner of top international automobile enterprises. Envision Greenwise has established a global service network covering more than 70 locations across the Americas, Europe, and Asia, dedicated to providing a full-category, full-region one-stop battery aftermarket solution. This network efficiently integrates high-quality international recycling resources, directly supporting the development of the green industrial chain in the Greater Bay Area, supporting the low-carbon transition of the national battery industry and the robust development of the renewable resource supply chain.

This signing marks a future collaboration among the three parties in the field of EV batteries through information sharing, business cooperation with complementary strengths, and exploration of overseas regional cooperation. This initiative aims to contribute to the establishment of a green, low-carbon circular economy system in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and to jointly promote the low-carbon transition of the national battery industry and the robust development of the renewable resource supply chain.
